Transfer of Credits

Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School accepted transfer credits from other divinity school, pending review of course syllabi and an official transcript.

Students who wish to have prior coursework considered for transfer credits should place the request in writing and with all accompanying documentation, to the Vice President for Academic Life. Normally transfer credit requests for courses taken ten years prior to admissions will not be granted.

Transfer coursework requested into the Master of Divinity program require course work with a grade of B- or higher and the Master of Arts program required coursework of B or higher.

Students may transfer no more then half of their coursework for the Master of Divinity degree (13 Courses) and the Master of Arts degree (8 courses).

Transferring credit into the Doctor of Ministry program requires course work with a grade of B or higher.  No more then two courses will be accepted for advance standing in the Doctor of Ministry program. These courses must be transferred from another ATS accredited Doctor of Ministry program and be consistent with the vision of the CRCDS Doctor of Ministry program in Transformative Leadership. Courses accepted for transfer credits cannot be substituted for required courses
