Student Advisory Regarding Copyright Infringement: The concept of private property is one of the building blocks of our society. To take the property of another without permission is theft. This concept is also applicable to intellectual property, including music and video entertainment.
Students at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School are prohibited from using school computers, networks, or other electronic devices for the purpose of illegally duplicating or sharing copyrighted material. This not only includes printed material, but downloaded or shared music, video or other media files.
Students who engage in in the illegal duplication or distribution of copyrighted material using Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School’s computers, networks, or other equipment are subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the school.
