Rev. Sebrone O. Johnson (CRCDS ’15), is the guest pastor for the CRCDS Black Student Caucus’ 4th African American Heritage Series, “E to the 4th Power: Explore, Enhance, Encourage, Empower” on February 14, 2018. Worship services begin at 4:15 pm in the Samuel Colgate Memorial Chapel. Community Meals begin at 5:30 pm in the Refectory.

Rev. Johnson serves as the Senior Pastor of Greater Harvest Church in Rochester, NY. He is also the Senior Director of Innovation, Facilities and Special Projects at the Urban League of Rochester, NY. He attended Union College in Schenectady, NY and holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Economics from St. John Fisher College. He received a Master of Divinity degree from Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in 2015, and has been honored as an All-American Scholar. A member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Rev. Johnson is listed among Who’s Who in Information Technology.

Rev. Johnson serves as the ecumenical chairperson for the Rochester Black Leadership Commission on AIDS (BLCA). He is a member of the University of Rochester Medical Center community Advisory Council. Additionally, Rev. Johnson sits on the Boards of E3 Rochester and Vertus Charter School, where he adds insight into the struggle of inner city youth for quality education through the establishment of charter schools in the Rochester area.
