Over 20 people participated in the first IMCL Live session last Thursday with Melany Silas. Don’t miss our next session this Thursday, December 13th with CRCDS student, Dr. Jessica Shand. Dr. Shand specializes in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the University of Rochester Medical Center and is currently enrolled in CRCDS’s Graduate Certificate program. The topic for this session is the Soul of Medicine.
The final session is Thursday, December 20th with Dr. William D. Lopez, Author and Immigration Activist, University of Michigan. Our topic of discussion with Dr. Lopez is Immigration Justice: Telling the Stories that Society Ignores.
Each session is an hour and a half and engages in conversation dealing with the need for personal healing and community renewal. The sessions consist of a brief lecture and Q & A.
