Sponsored by the Black Student Caucus of Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, the MLK Songfest is an annual tradition to celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr (CTS ’51).

The Songfest has become an avenue for the youth of our community to show their talents in song, dance and art. Part of this celebration is the addition of the Youth Art Exhibit and the “Lift Every Voice” Scholarship competition. All Rochester area students (Pre-K through 12) may participate in the Art Exhibit. Local high school seniors or undergraduate students in Monroe County may submit the application for the “Lift Every Voice” Scholarship.
