Baptist Women in Ministry (BWIM) is preparing to launch their application period for the 2020-2021 Mentoring Program Cohort. This program matches women serving in their first three years of ministry (or first three years in a new kind of ministry) with a seasoned mentor and a group of about 4-5 peers for retreats and monthly conversations. This year, thanks to a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment, Inc., they are expanding their program to a two-year cohort and deepen what they are able to offer to the participants.

Those who have been a part of the mentoring program the past several years state repeatedly how important their mentor and group have been for them as they navigate the early years of ministry. BWIM believes that these wise guides matter and make a difference in how these women are sustained and are thriving as ministers.
