The Faculty of CRCDS are Scholars, Teachers and Learners. We each have our field of expertise and questions that keep us up late at night or get us up early in the morning. We are passionate about the enterprise of imparting knowledge, and the give and take when someone seeks to know. It is the classroom moment, when we depart from the text and go deeper, that reinvigorates us as teachers and guides. Finally, we are learners; we grow with our students as we research, reconsider theories, topics, issues and arguments.
We are committed to our call as faculty, and we are committed to creating a teaching and learning environment in which students are honored as scholars, teachers and learners. The educations that students receive from this faculty will prepare them for the challenges of “ministry” in a pluralistic world in which relationship building and intellectual acumen are needed to navigate and transform conflicts and fear, and thereby invite people to respond in faith.
