October 2015: CRCDS hosts a Christian Pilgrimage to Israel-Palestine

East Jerusalem, Israel - 18 Jan 2012Following the successful trip to Israel-Palestine in June 2013, CRCDS will be hosting a return trip in October 2015. On this pilgrimage we will visit Jewish, Christian and Muslim holy sites, meet people of these faith communities, and engage the tragic and seemingly intractable conflict tearing the fabric of life in this land. Throughout the twelve days, there will be occasions for prayer, worship, Bible study, as well as lectures on ancient and contemporary theological and ethical topics. Led by Melanie Duguid May and Mark Brummitt. Interested parties should contact Mark Brummitt at mbrummitt@crcds.edu.

May 2015: CRCDS Pilgrimage to Iona Community In Scotland

ScotlandJoin pilgrims from all over the world for a week of living in community in a restored 12th Century Abbey. This week at IONA Community is more than just a time of experiencing  life in community. It is more than checking off something on one’s life list. It is an invitation to be transformed and to live in ways that are transformative. To live seeking right relationship with self, the other, the divine and all that is, claiming life as worship and worship as life, and sojourning as one who honors the past so as to learn from it, and thereby be about right and just living in the present.

Interested parties should contact Stephanie Sauvé at
ssauve@crcd.edu.
