A pastoral leader is sought  for worship leadership, developing a ministry with youth, and pastoral care in a United Methodist 2 point charge  approximately 2 ½ hours east of CRCDS. This small town/rural area draws from a wide region for employment and there is opportunity for growth.  Position could be 25 hours per week.   Housing for 1-2 nights per week is provided  at a private unit in the community. Treasurer (The Upper New York Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church)

The Upper New York Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church is seeking an experienced Treasurer to join our team. The Treasurer is responsible for budget coordination, cash and investment management, central treasury operations, financial reporting and accounting, management of all conference assets, the administrative functions of the Conference in support of all ministry and mission areas, including property management. The right person for this position will be a CPA with at least a bachelor's degree (master's preferred), and a minimum of 5 years accounting/finance with non-profit experience.  This position also requires a sensitivity and commitment to diversity (culture, race, ethnicity, gender, theology, etc.).

Part-time Director of Young Christian Ministries (Fayetteville, NY)

The United Church of Fayetteville, 310 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville, NY (American Baptist and Presbyterian USA) seeks a part-time Director of Young Christian Ministries. 

Starting 09/01/2013. Responsibilities include: 


Plan and oversee the preK-12 education ministries, teach 9-12th grade Sunday school, lead fellowship activities, and coordinate youth mission initiatives. Must be available Sunday mornings. $7,500K. Position has potential for growth.


Qualifications:


Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to interface with all ages with ease. Previous experience working with young people. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Collegial and collaborative work style.
