Community Activities
Vice-Moderator of the World Council of Churches Commission on Faith and Order (through 2005); member of the National Council of the Churches of Christ in the USA Commission on Faith and Order (through 2000); locally, a member of the Rochester Women's Network; give lectures in various settings locally and elsewhere.

Research Interests
Women in ministry, possibilities and problems; theological reflection on our culture of hate and the God of love; the Great War and the birth of twentieth century theology; ecumenical theology, especially understandings of "unity;" "place" as theological subject.

Introduction to Contemporary Christian Theology; Women in the Worldwide Church; Pornography, Prostitution, and the Iconography of Women in the Christian Tradition; Christian Theological Responses to Religious Pluralism; Theological Perspectives on Power, Authority, and Abuse; Women in Ministry: Possibilities and Problems; Violence Against Women in Religious Perspective and Practice.
