The Rev. Dr. Barbara Jones-Hagedorn Memorial Fund was established by her family to memorialize and honor her life and ministry. Her memorial fund directly supports the work of the Program for the Study of Women and Gender in Church and Society at CRCDS.
Rev. Dr. Jones-Hagedorn passed away on February 8, 2012. Among many accomplishments, she served as Pastor to Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rochester, NY and Saint John's United Church in Columbia, MD, and later as the Associate Executive Presbyter of the Hudson River Presbytery. In retirement she taught at the Greenhaven Correctional Facility. She is survived by her husband Rev. Dr. John Hagedorn, a huge and loving family, and dearest friend, Sister Barbara Moore. A celebration of her life will be held at the Bedford Presbyterian Church, Bedford, NY at 1:00pm on Sat., April 14.
