The CRCDS Fund is a vital sustaining source of support for the school, providing essential funding to virtually every area of school operation.
Every dollar counts
Today, students who are enrolled in seminary are just as idealistic and enthusiastic as their counterparts some 40 – 50 years ago. One substantial difference, however, is that students today often incur significant financial debt as they prepare for ordination or lay ministry. In 2005-2006 the actual costs of educating one student was $31,830 a year; although the full time tuition is $7,740. In essence, every student receives a subsidy of $24,090. Those on financial aid receive even more. The cost of a CRCDS education over three years is an impressive $95,490 per student. It is important to keep in mind that in the current academic year, 51 % of CRCDS students are receiving financial aid from the school. The school is committed to need-blind admission, which requires renewable, steadily increasing, and long-term support from the annual fund.
Conscious of the need for aid, CRCDS offers deserving students generous financial assistance. Assisting CRCDS in providing financial assistance to students is a concrete way for the local church to share from abundance of blessing that the Lord has made manifest to them. With the assistance of the local church ministerial leaders will obtain the knowledge and exposure needed to be on the caring edge of ministry.
