We are proud to announce the ordination of Arthur "Nick" W. Smith, CRCDS '13. Nick will be ordained by The Right Reverend Gladstone B. Adams III, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York, on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Trinity Church in Fayatteville, NY.

The CRCDS community congratulates Nick as he begins a new chapter in his spiritual journey.

Retired Bishop Rt. Rev. Jack M. McKelvey named Chairperson of CRCDS Board of Trustees

mckelveyColgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School is pleased to announce the appointment of Rt. Rev. Jack M. McKelvey as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. McKelvey follows Rev. Stuart A. Mitchell III, who served in that role for three years.

Rev. McKelvey has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 1999 and served as interim President of the school for 18 months following the retirement of Dr. Eugene C. Bay, until the appointment of Dr. Marvin A. McMickle as President in October, 2012.

Rev. McKelvey, a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Rochester, NY was the 7th Bishop of the Diocese of Rochester serving from 2000 until he retired in 2008. A former Episcopal priest in Delaware and New Jersey, he received a Master's of Divinity and honorary doctorate degree from Virginia Theological Seminary.

The Board's new Chairperson is active in the community and volunteers his time and talents to many diverse causes. He has served on the Boards of Episcopal Senior Life Communities, Rochester Red Wings, Hobart and William Smith Colleges and Water for South Sudan.

Director of Christian Activities and Family Ministries: The First United Methodist Church of Baldwinsville, NY, a strong 1,000 member program focused church located in a suburb of Syracuse, is looking for an individual to work with new and existing church groups to continue development and implementation of outreach and programs designed to reach individuals, youth, and families within our community. Requirements include advanced theological training beyond a baccalaureate degree, a vision for Christian discipleship in our rapidly changing society, and preferably three to five years leadership experience in a congregational setting.
