The Bookstore is warm and inviting with a magnificent view and comfy leather chairs. It is a gathering place for students and faculty to discuss the latest trends in theological publications.

As an educational resource for students, faculty and staff, the Divinity School Bookstore carries theologically related text and trade books appropriate to an ecumenical inclusive seminary. Typical areas of interest include theology, biblical studies, church history, parish ministry, pastoral counseling, Black Church studies, religious education, spirituality, homiletics, ethics, peace and justice.

The store offers special discounts to students for the purchase of their textbooks. There is also the convenience of ordering texts for the upcoming semester by e-mail and having them shipped directly to the student's home. The books can also be set aside and picked up directly from the store. Books can be charged to the student's account.

Acknowledging that the students and their families, as well as staff and alumni, look to the school for additional supportive services, the bookstore carries academically related specialty gift items. A special order service for books is also offered. To encourage the building of personal, professional and church libraries, twice a year all books in stock are offered at special discounts. Clergy, religious educators and laity in the Rochester area are invited to become regular users of the bookstore Click here for book order information.
